The Bills are hoping tight end Gavin Escobar can help fill the void left by Jordan Reed who is out for the season. With their already slim playoff hopes dwindling, they will need to rely heavily on Escobar once he gets healthy.
The “buffalo bills tight ends 2021” is a bill that has been passed by the United States House of Representatives. The bill will require former Houston Texans tight end Ryan Knox to help the Buffalo Bills with their injuries.
Against the Indianapolis Colts, Getty Kahale Warring makes a grab.
The Buffalo Bills have enlisted aid to compensate for the loss of their tight end, who is having a breakthrough season.
The Bills confirmed earlier in the week that Dawson Knox would not be available for the game against the Miami Dolphins on October 31, and the practice squad was called up the day before the game. The Bills are anticipated to be without Knox for at least a few weeks, giving their newcomer a chance to shine.

Former Houston Texans tight end gets the call
On Saturday, the Bills announced that tight end Kahale Warring will be promoted from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins. Warring suited for the game despite Knox’s injury and the squad’s overabundance of defensive line players, which forced the team to leave a couple inactive each week.
Warring was a former Houston Texans third-round selection who appeared in seven games last season, catching three catches for 35 yards. He’ll be used as a backup to Tommy Sweeney, who will take Knox’s spot as the starting tight end. Sweeney was anticipated to see the majority of tight end targets, and he expressed excitement about the prospect this week.
“I’m all set. I’ve been in this offense for three years, and although I’ve had my ups and downs with other things, I’m thrilled and ready.” Sweeney told Bills Wire of USA Today. “It’s just a chance, and I’ve got to keep it as normal as possible and go out and perform.”
Sweeney missed last season due to a COVID-19 infection that caused a cardiac issue, but he was able to return this season to catch his first career touchdown in the team’s 34-31 defeat to the Tennessee Titans.
Knox is having a breakthrough year.
While Sweeney and Warring will do their best to fill in for Knox, replacing the output that the third-year Knox has delivered might be challenging. Knox has 21 receptions for 286 yards and five touchdowns this season, after suffering with drops in his first two years with the Bills. He has quickly established himself as one of quarterback Josh Allen’s favorite targets. In the Titans’ defeat, he also threw a two-point conversion throw to Allen, which came after the injury that left him with a fractured hand.
After the game, Allen stated he knew Knox was wounded and attempted to persuade the coaches to modify the play, but they refused, and Knox shot-putted the ball to Allen for the score.
Allen stated, via ESPN, “Huge kudos to Dawson.” “I was attempting to call the play off, shaking my hands at [offensive coordinator Brian Daboll] and saying, ‘Don’t call it, we can’t do it.’ ‘I got it,’ [Knox] remarked, looking at me. I’ll bring it to you as soon as I can.’ So, putting your body on the line like that and sticking it out was a big-time play, and it’s fantastic when a teammate is willing to do that, and that’s why we adore him.”
Before returning, Knox is set to miss at least one more game.
