(AP) — PASADENA, Calif. — No. 10 Oregon overturned a 14-point hole to defeat UCLA 34-31 on Saturday, as Travis Dye became the first player in Football Bowl Subdivision history to score touchdowns on four consecutive rushes.

The Ducks (6-1, 3-1 Pac-12) produced 381 total yards of offense against the Bruins, led by Anthony Brown (5-3, 3-2).

Dye became the fourth Oregon running back with at least four rushing touchdowns in a game since 2000, with 35 yards on 14 touches.

Six players, including Illinois’ Howard Griffith and Virginia’s Tiki Barber, had TDs on three consecutive carries before Dye’s record-breaking day. Joe Ayoob of Cal was the last to do it against New Mexico State on Sept. 23, 2005.

During the first quarter, Oregon fell down 14-0 before scoring on five of its next six possessions.

In the first quarter, Dye gained 5 yards on four carries before scoring on rushes of 1 and 4 yards to tie the game at 14. Oregon led 17-14 at halftime, but Dye scored from 1 and 5 yards in the third quarter to put the Ducks up 27-17.

Brown completed 29 of 39 throws for 296 yards and 11 completions. He also ran for 85 yards on six carries. Before the Bruins responded, his 43-yard TD run on a quarterback pull stretched the Ducks’ advantage to 34-17.

UCLA was within ten points after Dorian Thompson-2-yard Robinson’s keeper early in the fourth quarter. Following Caleb Johnson’s interception on Oregon’s next play, Brittain Brown scored from a yard out up the middle.

With three minutes left, UCLA had an opportunity to tie the game and send it to OT when Jay Shaw intercepted Anthony Brown’s throw in the end zone. The Bruins marched to the Oregon 39-yard line, but Ethan Garbers, who replaced Thompson-Robinson after he was hurt earlier in the drive, had a throw intercepted by DJ James to keep the game alive.

Thompson-Robinson completed 22 of 41 passes for 216 yards and a touchdown, as well as 35 running yards and a touchdown. Brown gained 45 yards and two scores on 13 carries.

UCLA received the opening kickoff and scored on a 1-yard run by Brittain Brown. After Martell Irby blocked Tom Snee’s punt and recovered it at the Oregon 30, Thompson-Robinson connected with Kazmeir Allen on a 5-yard pass four plays later to increase the Bruins’ advantage to two scores.
