The Mediterranean-style home, which sits on 340 feet of Lake Washington beachfront, is more than 8,100 square feet. It’s situated on a peninsula with uninterrupted views of Seattle’s skyline, according to Mr. Kipp.

The sale is a company linked to Diane Diamond Foreman, whose father established Diamond Parking in Seattle. Mrs. Foreman established Columbia West Properties, a commercial real-estate company in Bellevue, which she died earlier this year. Richard Foreman, her husband, was a three-term mayor of Bellevue who passed away in 2014.
The buyer’s identity could not be established right away. The buyer’s agent, Lisa Whittaker of Coldwell Banker Bain, refused to comment.
According to Northwest MLS, the sale is one of the largest in Washington state this year. The most expensive transaction was a $23.5 million sale at Hunts Point, Washington, which is located on a peninsula on Lake Washington. According to statistics, Hunts Point also has the state’s current sales record: a house that sold for $60 million last year.

According to Mr. Kipp, many of the area’s corporate offices are in Bellevue, which likewise has a strong high-end market. It is close to Medina, a Washington enclave that is home to some of the region’s most well-known tech figures, including Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates. According to Mr. Kipp, the average selling price for a waterfront house in West Bellevue is $4.2 million, and waterfront inventory is becoming more scarce as longstanding owners acquire adjacent properties to build enormous estates. According to him, the Foreman property got an offer within days of being listed.
